RRoD

Ok I've gooten the RRoD the beginning of the month, 2nd time Vet.

So I rent one from Best Buy via the 30 day policy so I get it back two days ago and the damn thing doesnt recognize my controllers and the 4th quadrat lite is out, WTF? So I have to send it in a 3rd time, so my wife was going to let me borrow hers, she stays in an apt. while she's at school, but is graduated and is just running down the lease and will be moving back so we thought I could just use here and take back the Best Buy, well she calls and tells me that she just got the RRoD on hers. So basicaly now I have two consoles and both have the RRoD, the new one I bought has the HDMI and stuff, and from what I read according to production dates ect. it suposed to have the new nano chip, so I sid Fuck it, I'll keep the new one, send both back and give one to my wife when the are fixed and keep the other as a spare.

How bad does a f'n console have to be because you have keep a spare lying around, or maybe the uestion is better yet as how bad are you addicted to gaming you have to keep a spare around?

PorkChop Platoon FNG

Ok, just got into one of the Clans I applied for Pork Chop Platoon. Really looking forward to meeting everyone and getting in some games and stuff. I withdrew my applications to two other clans, because I don't think it would be fair to become involved in one and then just get up an leave, not the way I roll so to say. So I withdrew, I hope t still game with everyone even if from a different clan, everyone seems to be good people.

But for now I'd like to just try and single a place where I could fit in meet new friends to game with and become an active member. It's only fair to the clan I just joined and the other clans I withdrew from applying. So here I am a new member of The PorkChop Platoon, and what better time to join then when R6:V2 comes out!! Wohooo!!

Hell r6 is where it all began a buddy of mine lent me his copy for the PC when R6 first launched, and we were playing on MSN's the zone. We'd come off duty and take our aggression out online .  But that was the first I was introduced to online gaming, and now that's where I like to focus is on tactical Fps games like CoD4, and R6. So I guess that is why I am excited about joining this clan...to become part of a team, back at the website I created I always tried so hard to get clans started but nothing ever caught on. Damn knows it sure wasn't because I tried.

Speaking of the Syndicate, we'll save that for tomorrow. That's the website I bought into with 3 other guys. You think when they say dont do business with friends or family it's just a saying, but damn if it ain't true.

Anyway I'm packed up and moved on. So much to do on this site, I love it!

Integrity

Integrity

Is it wrong to expect integrity, or someone's honesty in return? Sure we are all not 100% honest, it's only human, but having good morales as a person, and as a friend I strive at. See, 4 years in the Marines, and hell any military back ground as that much, all focus on team Integrity, being true to your team, the ability to be ble to know your partners going to be there when all hell breaks loose.

After my 4, I knew that I need to find an oocupation that relied hevily on the integrity of ones I would be working with, so I became a police officer. Again, my whole moral outline was to be the one my partner knew I had his back. I never mde the most arrest, I never gave a damn about tickets. My biggest priority was being there when someone needed a 10-32, back up unit, and they knew if I was available I was going to be there.

But is this wrong to expect else where? I have been to several online communities where it is very tight knit and made gaming communities even that much more enjoyable to become one of. But then there are those, is why I find myself here, who move toward not fully being there and not of the same morale priciples. So I ask is it wrong to expect the same in return? Perhaps insted I should focus on primarily on knowing that I will be there for others, and more so tha they know this, that I am a team player!

Ladies and Gentlemen.........

Hey if your reading this let me thank you for dropping in and checking me out.

So who is Fatal?

Fatal is a 35 year old retired Cop from NC. Retired at 29 Didn't do it the easy way. Got hit by an 18 wheeler Gasoline Tractor Trailer Truck. That was a while back ago now, but anyways, after cracking the noggin and juggling the hamster wheel upstairs that hasn't been right since. I got into a 4 year law suit, which is standard by the way, and they finally settled out of court. So where does tht bring Fatal??

I now have nothing but time and energy to do whatever the hell I want, whenever the hell I want. Bought a house here in NC, which we plan on moving soon, and when I say we, I mean me and my wife, who has just graduated UNC Law School!!! Woohoooo, gots me a sugar momma!! So depending where she wants to go I follow.

So I was a cop, first started working undercover directly out of the academy, no not like The Departed more like 21 Jump Street. I went to High School and did the full bown semester, for a big County Wide Sting Op. then I moved on to reg. street patrol where you are basically the City Janitor, doing everything!!! But you also get the good shit as well, the car chases, foot chases, traiffic accident invetigations, etc. So I've seen quite a bit. I'm not oe of thse asshole cops tho, show me a lil respect and I'll do the same for you, no need to humilate anyone, or think your a God, because you wear a F'n shield, we're all human. We just unfortunatly got handed a different set of cards.

Among other things, I got to work task force unit, was a Physical Fitness Instructor at the Police Academy, On the Dept. Honor Guard, Capt. of the Dept. Pistol Team, and was finally chosen for SWAT as a sniper.

Then an 18 wheel came alog made an ilegal turn and destroyed it all. Oh well, everything has a purpose, time to move on. So I did and have, and now I enjoy the time I have playing video games, driving my 05 Mustang GT Vert. 441 RWHP and very very very loud!

 

Whoally crap almost forgot 4 years of my life in the USMC, that's the Drain Bamage, but ya I was in the Corp from 91-95, stationed in Cuba on the fence, "Did you order the code red!!!" whoa flashbacks!  Japan, and Lejuene, as an Infantry Heavy Machine Gunner, 50cal. Mk-19, M-60E3s. Ooh Rah! Semper Fi!!

 

Ok so where does that leave me in gaming, I have a Xbox 360, I had a Wii, I had a PS3, I AM NOT!!! In no way or form a console war soldier. Why should I give a damn who sells mre consoles? I dont own stock share in any of the Companys, so the only thing that matters to me is playing a good game!! And one other thing, why do people give a rat's ass what game you love and dont like, uness your a developer. So I want go into a whole rant but for me there is only two things that matter, that I am having a good time, and that I have a good time when playing with Friends!!!

My favorite Game: FFVII, Bioshock are off the top of my head can be classified as the Two Games that just left me speechless.
