Halo

Ok have had a wee rest from playing halo as was getting fed up

All ready to start again and hope that they bring out snipers soon as am quite dissapointed that Swat was released before Snipers. Dont get me wrong I like Swat but I feel a game that is so host dependant like Swat should not be ranked especially as I never get host

I keep missing the sniper double exp weekends which is depressing as that is my fave bumper on H2 with over 3000 games played on one account alone lol.

I have been quite dissapointed with the way Halo 3 has been played over the last 8 months with campers, lag and noob tactics. Halo was always about the fast pace working as a team to destroy the enemy not getting one kill and hiding with hammer, sword, maulers, rockets or shotgun and the way the maps have been created its so easy to get away with this tactic Snowbound and epitaph being the worse.

I have been playing a lot of Swat which I shouldnt cause I get so frustrated almost to tears with the fact that I always seem to have to put 2 full round and 2 grenades into a guy (hoping he dosent turn round) to put them down and its the total opposite for them all they have to do is fart and I am dead lol.

Experienced some dodgey games I have two videos in my fileshare one called dodgey and one called dodgey 2 deffinitely worth a look at especially the one with the sticky but I will say no more ;) links below.

Wee update

HI all been ages again since I blogged probbaly cause not really got anything to say lol.

Not really been up to much starting to accept the fact that I will never achieve the grand General status in Halo which is a shame cause I love the Icon so will just have to make do with the eagle.

Been playing rock band which is wicked although I cant get into the drums so stick with the guitar which is actually easier than GH. When I havent been play Rock Band I have been playing the mighty Metal Gear Solid 4. Must say I was disapointed with the campaign but really enjoyed the online. My only gripe is the length of time it takes to rank up and the length of time to find a game on it. 10mins sitting waiting to find somone to play with and then it told me couldnt find anyone.

Other than the above its just been working or playing hence the new gamertag Coucn Tattie ;)

Update :-)

Well it has been a very long time since I blogged so thought I would do something as I was sitting all bored ;-)

I have trade in the 360 and got myself a PS3 which I havent looked back since. Personally I love my PS3 and the fact I can play all my PS2 games as well as we all know the games collection is running a bit on the low side for the PS3.

AS the price has been dropped in the UK for a premium 360 I may get another one but not really decided yet myself.

Still not smoking so thats almost a year but must admit was and am contemplating starting again due mostly to the fact i have put on shit loads of weight. People say just do some exercise but hey I am a gamer not a sportsman lol.

I am pleased to see more people enjoying the PS3 now and feel its been on the cards a long time but had to tolerate a lot of people knocking it on here and everywhere but thats what Sony have got used to over the past I suppose.

Not played Halo 2 for a very long time but played some for my friend and got back into it but that only lasted a couple of days when the glitches, cheats and laggers started coming out in full force this game has been destroyed which is a shame.

New Bungie

This is what i saw when i first checked on the bungie website after he had been upgraded to the so sexy new look

I was confronted with my medals how dare they tempt me to play by showing me my rampage lol.

I love the updated Bungie.net it looks so snazzy yet at frist i was lost in it i still oved all the new features etc and just to see Halo 3 stats coming soon droool

Long awaited update

Ok thought it was time to do a little update now as it has been about 10 weeks or so.

I havent really been keeping up with how many weeks etc lately but my partner has

I am not feeling any healthier with yet another chest infection breqing but surely in time it will lol.

So far no big obstacles with it still not really felt like one but have been winding my partner up saying that my new years resolution is to start again

My Update

Well i am sorry for not updating in a while but as it stand i have gone 7 weeks tomorrow without a smoke yay. I have no actual cravings just times i want one for the sake of having one
I keep telling my partner i am just seeing if can do it then strting back up which as you can tell dosent really go down well but hey you cant say i have lost my sense of humour hehehe.

By the way the reason i havent been online recently is cause i have been hooked on GOW

Crappy 360

Not mine but will be soon

I know it seems like all i do is bitch about how bad the 360 is but is it any wonder?
I rented need for speed carbon and about an hour into teh game i experienced my first crash. The game froze on a loading screen (how annoying). I left it for about 10 minutes as i was quite fed up with it and then went back to it. Half an hour later the damn thing done it again.

Does anyone experience this or is it just me? I have had 3 consoles now and they have all done the same from day 1 please dont tell me i have yet another faulty one

3rd week no smoking

Well just a wee update on the non smoking but not much to tell.
Still havent had a smoke and now starting to deel like i have so much more energy which is great i am actually going out for walks with my wee boy and even contemplating startng back at my martial arts.
I still havent had the urge to smoke much so fingers crossed thats the worse of it over once again though thanks to everyone here your support has made it so much easier

My wee walk

I know some people dont like double posts on the same day but honestly its just tough luck

I took my wee boy out for a walk today cause we were bothe really bored as we get when we aint playing the games
We took some pics which is teh funny part as my wee boy (6yrs old) took one which was the best one and mine were all appauling

And my one of him was really bad

Must say that we are very lucky these walks are just up the road from us but we still dont do as many as we should once again i am far too lazy to get my couch moulded ass up and about
I will look out some pics another time of my town to show off

Liked this as looks like the water is shallow but its actually very very deep so looks kinda weird?

Ok now i dont know if its just me but my tongue is so blooming sore since i quit smoking?
I dont know if it maybe has something to do with the 4 packs of Polo mints i am sucking or not but jesus how sore can you get
Also i am finding that i am not enjoying my coffee`s as much anymore my partner was laughing at this as i used to drink anything upto 20 cups a day and if this spoils my coffee i will start smoking again (jkg).
I will save you all the wonderful sight if my tongue but you know what its like when you burn it on a really hot coffee? Thats what its like all the time .

2 Weeks and still quit smoking

Ok well i have really surprised myself with how well i have done. Two weeks on and i still havent had a smoke and i dont even miss them now. I really cant believe how easy it is this time round its probably down to all the bad health i have had but still yay.

I am still eating too much and so much for the excersize and eating healthy that stuffs all broing lmao but still I AM NOT SMOKING

HDDVD V`s Bluray

I was into the differences between the Bluray and the HDDVD as i thought that the size difference between the two disks would make a considerable difference in quality etc. I found this handy little website which i thought was not only the movies they were talking a bout as this explained exactly the whole PS3 V`s 360.

Both Blu-Ray and HD-DVD discs enable HDTV reproduction because of their massive storage capacities. Using dual-layer techniques, HD-DVD can store as much as 30 gigabytes of data while a Blu-Ray disc can pack in a whopping 50 gigabytes. In the lab, techies already are working on several-layered discs that could allow more than 100 gigabytes of storage on one disc. That's enough for several HDTV movies, special features and compelling interactive content. Or a content provider could put more than 100 hours of standard-definition quality programming on one DVD. All 180 episodes of Seinfeld on one disc, anyone?
