Not Safe For Bill Collectors

I recently had to let my cell phone go for about a month or two so I could buy school supplies for my kids.When it came time for me to pay my bill after 2 months of not paying I discovered that my provider sent it to a collection agency.I contatcted my provider and told them I would rather retain their service and pay my now $1100 because they charged me for a early termination of service fee for 3 phones.Especiallly on one that the contract had expired on and I really didn't intend on retaining, but I guess when I signed my new contract for my other 2 phones they went ahead and add that one to the plan.

Anyways their kind collection agency decdided to call me up at work last month and ask for the bill paid in full via a credit card (which I don't have) or kindly write them a check for the amount owed.I would like to know why every collection agency always thinks that the person their calling always has this money laying around!!!!!

I told them as nicely as possible I don't have that kind of money and that I can pay them $50 - $60 a month do to the fact that my former cell phone provider sent me over to them so fuckiing fast after talking to them the week before.They asked my how much I had intended to pay the provider and I told them I was going to give them $400 if nothing came up or went wrong.At this time they said we will go ahead and take that amount out of your checking account for you right now.I had to stop them right there and tell them I haven't been paid yet and there is no money in the bank for you to take out.And so the rest of the conversation goes back and forth of me telling them I don't have my checking account number with me nor do I know it.I let my wife handle all that because I tend to screw things up and put us in the hole.I had spent 20 minutes on the phone telling them this over and over.So then they had convinced me to call the bank and get the checking account number from them over the phone and they would dial the phone from their office and we would do a conference call.I tried several times to tell them it isn't going to happen because I don't know the account number!

And much to the collectors surprise the bank even told her over the phone that they will not give out any account information with the account number and my password.So they called my wife after I finally managed to convince them to contact her and get the damn info from her.Well about 2 weeks go by and the collection agency agreed to take on a specified date unless told otherwise.Something came up and I had to use the money that I was going to pay part of my bill with to fix my wifes stupid car and purchase my diabetes medication, antidepressants, cholestoral, and blood pressure medication.Yes I a very screwed up person taking almost an entire pharamacy's worth of medication or about $200 bucks worth at least.The thing is part of them is on the $4 plan at Wal - Mart and the ones that aren't my insurance doesn't cover engough of it to lower the price to their supposed co-pay!

My wife called them and told them not to take out do to this fact of unforseen circumstances and the fact all my damn OT had dropped off the face of the earth.And that there would be no money in the bank for them to make the withdrawl.I'm guessing they heard theres $8 in the bank you can have that and feel free to pass that check that we promised about 5 times so that we can owe the bank an insufficent funds fee and make to we have have to pay you also for the same fee.

After seeing I was $125 in the hole due to them and having to pay their fucking return check fees I wound up losing about $200, the same $200 I was going to pay my land lord for back rent because of the fact when gas prices spiked I couldn't pay my rent in full and had to give what I could so I could get back and forth to work and buy my meds.So I called them and asked why they did this.The only answer I could get was that they were trying to collect on the debt owed to their client.I told them please don't do it again and to contact my wife about all future transactions.About an hour later I receive a phone call at work from my wfie telling me that she contacted the collection agency about paying a different amount and she was forwarded off to collection reps supervisor.Who became very rude with my wife and told her that I needed to go out and get a personal loan or get a pay day advance at a check cashing store and pay them in full plus the return check fees!She tried several time to get them to work with us on paying on the debt but that supervisor continued on their rude ass ways and hung up on my wife.

So I decided to do a little research into the collection agency better known as NCO.

NCO as it turns out has been in quite a bit of trouble over the past few years because of their tatics of obtaining money for their clients, such as harassment, threatening phone calls about taking people to court if they don't pay what they want them to pay within their time frame.

Hmmm, I do believe all of this has happend to me over the past 2 weeks, hell over last weekend I also found out that I can send them a letter and tell them to stop all contact by phone and to have them send me a bill.So I did that and yet the bastards still call me at home after I know damn good and well they recieved the letter.I told them that I don't need the interuption at work or at home.

Today they had the nerve to call me at work and I was very busy at the momenet and decided to be rude right back at them and tried to get the NCO rep to expalin to me that after a letter and a e-mail has been sent to them that they still have the fucking gall to call me at work and harass me.I was instructed that I had a problem and that I needed to correct it right now.I told them if your not willing to work with me and demand that I pay the entire amount right now then yeah I have a problem and I have a problem with my wife calling them and telling them to not take anything from the bank but you assholes did anyways.Not once for a returned check but 5 fucking times and that they should be thankful that the money was there the next day when I got paid to cover the banks fee and theirs.If no one at NCO wanted to work with me or stop harassing me at work and send me a fucking bill like I asked for sot that I could pay them what I could each month then they aren't going to get any money!!!!!!

Now tell me who the helll is going to answer me from your company why the hell a returned check has to be done 5 times after being told that there would be no money for you to withdrawal!!!!!

The next thing I know I hear a dial tone, I hope to god that they made good on their promise to record our conversation for quality control purposes so maybe in the future the assholes will learn to listen to the debtors and not their fucking greed and bonuses for pissing some one like me off!

video games are actually bad for you

This is what I hear at work from time to when someone sees me wearing my Halo 3 t-shirt.Video games cause you to become fat, a diabetic, sociably with drawn, and your just to damn old to be playing video games period.Video games were made for children to play and those that have no wife or children.

You need a real hobby, read a book, play a sport, coach a sport, find something to other than play video games in you spare time.So what if your the Committee Chair for the Cub Scouts and the fact you travel 80 miles out of your way for leaders training at least once a month.So what if you have to make the hard decisions on whether or not to spend money earned from selling popcorn on what the pack needs.

You need to go back to school, get the training you need to do something else here.

I like to tell them "Hey I already have a full plate being a father, a husband, a brother, a computer tech for everyone in my family and here at work.Do I charge for any of these services I provide no, well not all the time just on the ones that require me to do a complete system restore on a new hard drive.Because some one didn't listen to me when I said don't click on links that say Click here for a larger penis!!!!!!"

I play video games in my spare time to interact with people my own age or that shares my damn hobby.I'm a damn type 2 diabetic because I when I get stressed out I tend to eat and eat and eat. And that is mostly because I'm a manic depressive.I tend to like roller coaster, once I reach the peak I plummet down off that sudden drop off wanting to hurt everyone around me.

But with something to do other than over eat, and taking better care of myself has to do with the fact that I have stress relievers such as Grand Theft Auto IV, Halo 3, Call Of Duty 4, and the other games I like to play.Also I have 2old2play.com where I can blog about bull like this and feel relived that I talked to some one or some one else read this.

Do I want sympathy? Nah, just a place where I can be myself, make friends, and a shoulder to lean on every now and then.We could all use one nowadays, with the way things are going in this crazy world we have to share.

Scooby Doo

Over the weekend I had a thought about an old conversation I had with one of my coworkers.It was all about how the cartoon characters in Scobby Doo were on drugs.He told me that a girl he know doesn't allow her kids to watch it because shes afraid that the would learn to drugs from watching it.

Myself I don't see it but listened to his BS anyways, he went on to say that no one else saw the monsters but the kids, and the smoke coming from behind van was actually pot smoke.

I looked at him and asked him the question of all time "Are fucking stoned yourself or even that girl?!!!"

"Where in the hell do either one of you come to this conclusion?"

To me people are always looking for something to complain about and find wrong in anything innocent.Ok somewhat innocent the was a hippie character but thats besides the point.

They were teenagers solving crimes and one and a dog who had bottomless pits for stomachs.To tell the truth the bottomless pits part sounds a lot like my kids.

But back to the subject, I think that if anyone has this much time on their hands to look and find something wrong a cartoon should look towards themselves or the government and point out flaws there.

Bullies

Bully - Bullying is the act of intentionally causing harm to others, through verbal harassment, physical assault, or other more subtle methods of coercion such as manipulation.

Last night I came home from a good night of bowling only to find out that one of my boys is being bullied at school.Nothing pisses me off more than a bully, but as with all bullies nowadays they run in groups.Unfortunately one of the bullies is a Cub Scout in my sons den even!When this kid is at his den meeting, but at school evidently at school he has his own little posse that he likes to run with and picking on others.No where in the Cub Scout promise that it says I promise to tease other people for any reason.

The fact that a Cub Scout is doing this really chaps my ass beyond all belief.I've seen this Scout act up at pack meetings and personally had to to make him stop acting up.His grandfather brings him to the Den meetings and pretty much lets him get away with murder.The den leader is usually beside himself and pulling his hair after awhile.I had a talk to his grandfather at one point and asked him to help reel his grandson in.He's disrupting the meetings and the rest of the den.After that he made him behave while I was there, but now that I'm bowling on the night of the Den meeting I've been receiving reports that he's back to his old ways.

When I was a kid I was bullied pretty fierce by one guy who had a everything in the world against me for no other reason than the fact he didn't like me.But he was one person who didn't need back up due to his size and strength.But 3 kids on one is the fact that they know that they have no power alone against one of my boys, so they have to team up.When I was a Den Leader for the Cub Scouts I taught the Scouts that no bully has power over you if you ignore them.If they hit you, push you, or call you names walk away.The only time you should fight back is if your in danger or you can not make it to an adult safely.

We got the names of the boys in question and took them to the principal so that he can take care of the problem and call the parents of the offending kids.He also told my son that he can't help him if he doesn't let him know who is doing all the bullying.

A case of mistaken identity

A couple of weeks ago I had to go to the local hardware store to pick up some basic supplies for the plant it was the end of day and I was tired.Well something happened that has never happened before they asked me for my ID when I went to charge this stuff to company charge account.Okay, this doesn't sound like a big deal but the thing is I had to use my bosses name and sign his name in the past for all this stuff.So every time I went there to pick up stuff I gave his name and signed his name, I have been doing this for a couple of years now without a problem.But when they asked for my ID I damn near shit myself and panicked.I told them I left my ID back at the plant and asked them to call for conformation.Well they called and the plant manager gave them permission to let me (not knowing it was me, but who I had told I was) charge this stuff I purchased to the company account.

When I get back to the plant I give everyone that asked my to pick stuff up for them their shit and was on my way to the time clock when my boss stopped me and asked me if I had just been to the hardware store and charged some stuff to the company account.I told him what went on and what I purchased.Well he starts laughing and tells me that the plant manager had called him and started to tease him about leaving his wallet at the plant.He told him that he hasn't left the plant today.I started laughing to at this point and asked where he was so I could explain to what happened and save face.Turns out when the plant manager found out that it wasn't him he took off to the hardware to store five minutes after I returned to find out who he gave permission to charge stuff to the company account.Well we waited about 10 minutes and called him on his cell phone and told him who it was that had charged stuff to the account.Of course I left before he returned and chewed me out and let him cool off over the weekend.

Needless to say none of them will let me live it down what I had done, and slick way I handled that situation at the hardware store.

So who will I be tomorrow?

Another birthday

Once again its that time of the year again and I get another year older and on top of that I had to report for Jury duty today.Nothing like doing a civic duty make ones birthday just that more special.

But it wasn't all that bad today though before my kids went to school this morning they sang me "Happy Birthday", it made me feel better about going to court and receiving my juror number and phone number to call as instructed.Also the little gifts they made for me because my birthday didn't fall on a payday helped out a lot to.All they were little cards that they had drew and colored for me and that was all I needed from them.

This is my 34th birthday and I hope to see many, many, many more!

Update at the job

Well I'm back to doing their bidding at the job for now, but they also seem to be staying as far as they can from me due to my temper.I get the occasional "Hello, Jason" from them and watch them walk as fast as they can to get away from.me.I guess their all scared that I'm going to go off on them again, it isn't like I made a deal with them that if I drive the damn delivery truck again that will review giving me my raise.I had to swallow my fucking pride just so I could try to get them to reconsider one more time!

Now every morning is a challenge for me to get out of bed and goto work, I have to continue watch gas prices rise for another year and redo my entire budget for 2008 do to the "no raise for you because your to stressed out", you want stressed out try not getting a raise that you were expecting!!!!!......................geez

Anyways I just want to also say thanks to everyone for giving me a ear to chew on.But life must go on even though there are bound to be plenty more downfalls for me in the future.Plus its about time I started taking my medication again to keep me calm and not so damned depressed when nothing seems to go my way.According to the wife I have become harder to live with since I haven't been taking it since April or May I can't really remember when my last dose was.All I know is that when my medical insurance decided that they weren't going to help me as much as they used to pay for it I had to stop getting it.Man do I ever feel sorry for those fucking Timmies now when they start in on their stupid shit of screaming in my ear on XBL.It isn't like I tell them to "SHUT THE FUCK UP TIMMY" every time.Don't believe me ask anyone that has played Halo 3 with me since it has come out on many times shouted that out at the little bastards.They want to scream at me well I scream right back at them.

Well I gotta go take on of my kids to Cub Scouts now and feed everyone afterwards, so I will go another rant at a another time.

Cost Of Living

It was that time of the year again at work, and someone that has been there for 10 years was looked over all because they don't want to drive a delivery truck.Because this person is limited to what they can do at work.Limited by what confuses that person other than the chicken shit excuse that they gave him was that anything else would be to stressful.But that fact that person operates a paper cutter doesn't seem to be that damn stressful.Or the fact this person does their supervisors job while he sits in his god damn office surfing the net or insulting that person and trying to convince this person that he would do nothing like that.

So when that person tells him that the fact he won't drive the fucking delivery truck should affect their cost of living raise is BS and threatens to quit within two weeks time.But then that person calmed down quite a bit.And told their shit head supervisor that they would rather work second shift again and shave their fucking head so that person wouldn't have to worry about their hair falling out again due to stress.That person was told to go talk to the owner of the plant if that person didn't like what they heard.

So that person did was given the same sorry ass excuse plus the fact that the owner didn't think that person was trainable to do anything else because that person didn't want to drive the delivery truck.What chap this persons ass is that there is another person who lives in the same time as the the supervisor..........Favortism anyone?

I guess everyone has figured it out by now that it was me, I was this person that was fucked over.I am also the person who has made his mind to work this dead end job till he can find a better one no matter where it is.If it means to uproot his family to move to the better job.I also plan to take as many jobs from them as I can.I plan on telling my future employer everything about the shit they pulled with me and what jobs they need to go after to hurt them big time.

I guess I'm just following the circle of fuck you know........Fuck me, I fuck you back twice as hard.

White Trash

I was playing Halo 3 earlier with some fellow 2o2pers and we decided to play a some Multi Team in the Social play list, unfortunately for us we didn't quite have enough people to keep the Timmes out.Everyone laughing about how a couple of us wound up with a damn Timmy on our team.When I said "I feel sorry for Dallas!", the only Timmy with a mic spoke up.Started calling me white trash, and everything associated with being from the South.

Needless to say I made the little shit head pay for his running of his mouth by chasing him down and making sure he was most of my kills, BTW heres his Gamer Tag to,...........

Another Oops!

Yesterday I went to work with my shirt on backwards and didn't even notice it, but I did notice a bunch of people laughing at me and I paid no attention to them.I thought I was in for another rip roaring day of pick on the fat man day.Well in a way it was a precursor for them to pick on me.

Someone did feel sorry for me though and told me the pocket on my shirt was in the back.I was slightly embarrassed by it but shrugged it off and fixed my shirt and went on my way.The only thing on my mind at that moment was getting to the break room and hoping no one was being an asshole and made a fresh pot of coffee and used the last of the sugar and leave the empty container on the cabinet.

No such luck there, I get back there the fridge is stuffed with shit from last week still, there was a full pot of decaf on, and some sorry asshole left a empty sugar container on the cabinet and didn't have the gumption to get a new one from the front office.Which I still haven't figured out why in the hell we have to go all the way up there for filters, sugar, or coffee.I know at one point and time we used to keep some of that stuff in the break room, but since the fire the people in the front office keeps taking everything up front and gets mad when we need stuff in the break room.

I wonder if that happens everywhere, where the peons in the world try to get a cup of coffee only to see that someone from the front office decided that everything that is needed to have a nice cup of coffee has to sit right in front of them for their convince.I mean if we have to trouble ourselves to walk all the way up there for just a cup of coffee why the hell can't they?

Are we so far down in the social ladder that we have to cater to them as they look down their noses at us?

Something

Since one of my clan members has booked marked me and has told me that I don't blog that much I decided to blog about something if not about nothing.

I took 2 of my boys to Pocola, OK to play in a pee wee football game Saturday, the 2nd graders played first which one my kids in they won their game 20 - 14,( I think that was the score ).Dealt with a little rain and watched the 4th grade attempt to play.The other boy's team managed to score a touchdown and a field goal before they called the game due to rain.So all in all it was a good day that day other than the fact it took them until all the parents were soaked to the bone for them to call the damn game!

I know damn good and well I heard the 4th coach say several times "Hey ref its raining time to call the game due to the rain.", but no that couldn't happen he said it would pass in about 20 mins and we should be good to go, delay of game to let rain pass.I don't know about him but when its pouring down so stinking hard that the field is starting to flood its time to go.I don't know about people sometimes, and their stupid logic of when they think the weather will do as they bid.

Kids do say the darnest things

My wife had to take our 5 year old to the Dr. recently for a check up, but he wasn't in at the time and they had to see one of his associates.Which happened to be a female Dr., my 5 year old is not a shy person and can embarrass anyone.Anyways she checked his height, his weight, and had to pull down his pants to check his testicles.

"Hey!......You pulled my pants down."

"Yes, I did....I had to make sure is wrong down there."

"That's my wiener"

"Yes I see that, and everything looks ok"

"You like my wiener?"

After this question the Dr. turned away and washed her hands, my poor wife was mortified and couldn't help laughing.The Dr. turned to her and said "At this age they aren't shy at all."and walked out the door.
