Xbox 360 Number 2 Dead

Waiting to send my second 360 in for repair no red rings this time, but the screen kept freezing.  It happened on Saturday morning playing a free for all match in Call of Duty 4. Just my luck, I know I was in first place and this had to happen!  Yea, right!

So I went out and got me a Play Station 3, 80GB version. No not just like that, this was some thing I have thinking about for a few months now.  The Xbox 360 will always be the primary gaming machine. I wanted the PS3 for the Blue ray drive, playing PS1 and PS2 games.  Crash Team Racing has always been a family favorite.  But most of all, I needed to play Ratchet & Clank Tools of Destruction!  I have always been a Ratchet & Clank fan.  I have all the games and played through all of them a few of times getting all gold and platinum bolts. So far, it’s more Ratchet & Clank just like on the PS2 but with nicer graphics and different weapons but still cool I just love this series.

It’s been only 2 days now and I miss my 360 and some multi player action. Sucks! Just when I was leveling up nicely in COD4.

How's This.....

On Saturday morning, two days before the launch of the biggest video game in the history of mankind, my 360 got the dreaded red ring of death!  You have got to be kidding me.  So Xbox service said it was going to take 3-6 weeks to repair.  Yup.  Went out to get a core system as a replacement.  So now, when I go to my Gamestop tonight at 12am, I can finish the fight.

10,000 POINTS!!

Broke 10000 gamer score points!  Yep, did it finishing GRAW 2 on elevated risk.  I am all about the points and achievements!  Yeh, it kind of compensates for me really sucking at multiplayer.  I mean…..I really suck.  It’s really sad.  Although I have a lot fun like playing Gears of War after a few beers! Now, that’s a blast.  I don’t do too badly with racing games that’s why I am looking forward to Forza 2 that game looks hot!

            Any way, just wanted to make use of this blog.  I told my wife that I participate in the forums and I have a blog, she looked at me, laughed and said “you don’t even know how to spell!”  ha…..ha.  well that’s some thing else I suck at is spelling.  It’s so bad that sometimes when I use spell check it doesn’t even know what I’m trying to spell.

I also wanted to say how glad I am to be a part of the greatest site in the world with a bunch of great people!
