Now THAT'S Funny

This cracked me up in a sad kind of way.  While playing a 2O2P Halo 2 game last night:

Teammate #1:  I think we're down a man. 

Teammate #2:  Why?

Teammate #1:  There's a guy on our team with 0 kills.  I think he's gone.

Me:  Oh, rub my face in it, why don't you. [explodes in YET ANOTHER fiery death]

Why I Suck at Multi-Player Games

For the life of me, I can not distinguish between friend and enemy.  I spend a second looking at the dude in my sight and think "is he on my te...".  It is about at that point that the fucker shoots me in the head and sends me back to re-spawn.

XBOX Platinum Hits

Welcome to my 2O2P Blog's maiden voyage!

I joined this site to expand the number of mature gamers in my friends list.  I have a core group of friends, all over 30, that I game with regularly, but it is becoming QUITE apparent that even I am "too old" for the majority of users here.  Life circumstances have kept me stuck on original XBox titles, and for the most part, I'm happy as a clam (ignorance is bliss?).  There are some great old titles with lots of life left in them.  Ghost Recon 2, Summit Strike, Star Wars Battlefront 2, Burnout 3: Takedown, Black Arrow, Chaos Theory, etc.  Most can be purchased for a pittance.  I picked up four copies of Black Arrow for me and my core group of gamers on Ebay for a total of about $25 including shipping.  And as a special added bonus, the "Timmy" factor is virtually non-existent.  It seems that Timmy is mostly fond of brand new titles (and Halo2).  He usually won't lower himself to play something out of date.  Yeah, there are still dicks, but probably not as many as you get in other games.
