Dancing - A lost art

So...every Thursday evening, I go dancing with a good friend of mine.  We go to a grange near by.  It's cool living in a bit of a rural area, there's cool things like a "town grange"...anyhow...

The reason I always miss clan night is to go dancing.  Maybe I should sacrifice a little bit, but I sure enjoy it.  Now granted it's country dancing, but the teacher that does dance instruction before the real dancing starts teaches all sorts of stuff.  This past month we've been doing the Cha-Cha...Last month we did the Waltz...and we do 2-step of course, and swing...which is my personal fav!

I feel more connected to the music, and to a time gone by.  Now, maybe I'm a bit sentimental...but, My mom's parents have both passed away, but they were amazing dancers.  A little bit of a brag here, but people would clear the dance floor when the danced!  Everytime I go dancing I can feel how pleased they are that I'm learning how to dance better.  In this world of Hip-Hop and whatever else they call it...I'm glad that someone is still teaching these kinds of dances.  There is nothing so sexy as a man who knows how to dance, and can show you how he feels about you while dancing with you.  *Get your mind out of the gutter, you know what I mean!*

SO...if you're ever in the Puget Sound on a thursday night, you can come dancin' with me!

Best Clan Ever - 2old2pwn

It's been a few months since I joined 2old2pwn...I have had a lot of laughs and fun times with these amazing, talented, caring people.  So, I thought I would share how it all came about...

I was playing in Matchmaking, and I happened to be on a team who were de-leveling.  I was playing against Kid and Billy...everytime one of them killed me I could hear their banter..it was hilarious.  And, so in the Post Game Lobby, I went out of my comfort zone and told them that I enjoyed playing against them, and that I had a good time even tho' they were on the other team.  So...they sent me an invite and we played some more matchmaking...it was super fun!  I got an invite to join the clan, and the rest is history.

I was at the point where I was going to cancel my XBL membership.  I was sick of playing snot nosed little kids whose vocabulary was lacking.  A person can only hear  "F*@k" from a little kid so many times...ya know? 

So, I'm glad that I met Kid and Billy that night...I have since had the priviledge to play some fun Double team tourneys, Hoobs contests, clan nights...and had the opportunity to get to know the clan members a bit better! 

So...to the members of the BEST CLAN EVER...I thank you, and look forward to getting to know more of you soon!
