Fighting

I'm all about seeing a good fight. Im not real picky if its fair. Two people doing harm to one another if fun to watch. Hell its even fun to watch Mike Valley take on 4 guys an come out on top. What I dont like is gang beatings. This week end one of the soldiers in my platoon had a bad night. He was at a college party and got jumper by 5-7 frat boys. Im not going to pretend I know the full story, I don't know the full story, but no matter what he did he didn't deserve what he got. I understand getting a point across, I understand throwing a beating when it's called for. Guy does something wrong rough him up a bit send him on his way. Someone steals from you or screws your wife do what needs done. I don't know what he did it could be wrong place wrong time, or it could be he set the building on fire fucked all the girls and lit the frat's dogs on fire. He didn't deserve broken eye socket, broken nose, eyes swollen shut, more injuries and an overnight in a hospital. This kid isnt old enough to drink, he isn't real versed on life (he has been a little sheltered). He is under 150lbs and about 5'6". The cops were called arrests were made he IS pressing charges. I would normally say 2 people fight one looses don't call the cops. Right now I am saying "good for him." Soldier or not, small or not, mouthy or not, it doesn't take 5 to 7 guys to whip someones ass. It's overkill, it's just wrong. They could have sent him home with a few bruses and got the point across. I know a little on how the law works and if these guys have a clean record not much will happen to them but i hope they have bad records and get assfucked in prison but a 10+ incher and then get beat by the cell block!

What worthless piece of shit needs 4-6 buddies to fight with him?

It's official! well kinda

Well we got dates for a deployment to Iraq. It has been up in the air but now it does look official the orders will be coming down.Im excited and a little aprehensive about this as i always am. This will be my 2nd trip to the middle east. I guess the hardest part will be leaveing my son for a year. He will be 2 when i leave. This will be the 2nd time i dont see my son past 2. My first one is a long story i wont get into here. Im going with good people so it should be a good time. I've known about the lan for 3 years now and was planning to go to it this year but the Army shit on that. Ive been playing with some guys that are doing a lan close to me here but with the date the Army is shitting on that one too. I may hop down to ALT and see Zad, Bunnies, and Tainted.

A great Soldier

Last Thursday I got some news from my reserve unit.

Some know in 2005 I spent a year in Kuwait. During this time i took care of supply and arms room dutys, but my most time consuming job was the CO's driver. My CO was a bit different but was a hell of a guy. He was a solid christian with morals I could never have. I drove him all over Kuwait and he took great care of me for it. He brought me Taco Bell the first day it opened in Kuwait, which doesnt sound like a big deal but when there is something from home it makes it so much more important. I broke my foot twice while i was over there and he made sure I had a civilian vehicle. He gave it up for my comfort. The whole time we were there we never lost a soldier, we had one in the hospital from a very bad wreck but the CO brought everyone home with him.

Last Thursday I got a text. I couldnt belive it. I thought it was some kind of joke! From what I can gather The CO fell at his desk in Baghdad Iraq and died of a heart attack. He was 37. he was a newly wed, for the first time. His baby is due in November. This was his second tour in the middle east as an Engineer. He was making Iraq better for the people that live there. This Saturday we will be saying Bye to a great soldier and a great man.

9/11

This was one of the days I remember in my life as where I was. The other being the Challenger mishap. This one however i was proud of. I was in Hohenfells Germany in the motor pool getting ready to go home for the day. The NCO's came out and told us what had happened. We had some in our platoon from NY and everyone was ok from our group. I lived off post so they sent everyone home right then in hopes of getting out before a post lockdown. We went home and when I came in the next day, everythig had changed. Getting on to post normally took a coule minutes but we showed up early just in case it took longer. I got there at 4 in the morning and got on to post and into work at 11. this continued for about 6 months. Then the German government decided we had helped them enough and it was their turn to help us and they took over gaurdig out gate. On September 12 we had a very long day. I was in a specialty platoon of Infantry (1 of 2 in Europe) so we spent all day getting our trucks in perfect order and our weapons checked and ready to go. Luckily we didn't have to go anywhere. This year marks 10 years I've been in the military and i wouldnt change it for anything. I've spent 5 years over seas missing holidays with my family and to me it is worth every second away. The only thing this day has changed in my life is I've been to the Middle East now once, and I am hoping to go back again soon.

Shit!

I'm up late tonight as I'm too riled up to sleep! I take pride in the fact that im a good soldier, a good NCO, and a good person (for the most part). I've worked very hard in the Army to be good at what I do and have a very good reputation. Now all that may be coming to an end at least in some people's eyes. As some of you read in my "Asshole Of The Year" blog I was seeing someone behind my wife's back. She was also in the Army, not my soldier but not my rank either. From now on this other girl will be named Chell. Chell and I agreed on a story for when we are at drill about what happened so as not to harm either's reputation or put either career in jepordy. Maybe I'm paraniod but I'm starting to think Chell is not sticking to this agreement and making up things so she can look good and I can look foolish. Basically I think she is saying " He though I was leading him on and he took it all wrong". Well to me thats the wrong fucking answer! I dont care that Chell said she told her fiancee the whole story. They are still happy together and she acts like it never happened. I don't know of a man that could take it in stride like that. What I can't stand is having soldiers look at me like I'm stupid. Like I can't tell the difference between kissing someone and me thinking they were leading me on. I have much more to lose than she does and I'm transfering companies to ease the situation at home. All I know is we are both guilty and I came clean about it, if she didn't thats fine. Just don't drag me down because you're scorned and heartbroke. I don't know what it's called for girls but FUCKING SACK UP YOU STUPID BITCH AND TAKE YOUR FUCKING MEDICINE. Enough of the rant for tonight.

Flash!!

Flash Bangs and or Stuns. Is anyone as fluid with these as they are with grenades? I think that Flash Bangs are underused. Now my reasoning for this is simple, i dont normally get killed while flashed. Even in COD4 i dont finish my flash or stun challenges. I plan on finishing these goals for the rest of my prestiges. so please everyone flash everyone you see!

Asshole of the year award

Well I've earned it. starting about 2am last night was when it all began. I broke up with my girlfriend who hates me now! Told my wife about my girlfriend she is pissed and i can't blame her. Daddy's Little Angel, Mattie Nihcols, my beagle died today. She was 2 and a half years old. My son Sam fell down and shoved his teeth half way through is lip. He is 15 months old now. My dady isnt done yet so we will see how else i can fuck something up today! Oh yeah I'm in counciling to find out whats wrong with me. had my 2nd one today.

COD4 last night

So last night I got to play with my clan 2O2P South for our game night. Had a blast!!! I got to play with some clan mates I haven't got to play with in a while. After our Saturday Shootout playing Halo3 Zad and I played some with a mixture of clans. Clans and people who I read their blogs but never played with them. It was also a good time. I was happy that I found out I could "hold my own" with others from the site. I hope to see the same peeps again and play some more. Mass brought up that I should go to the LAN this time in CHI town. I'll have to think about that one but I'll be thinking about it more than last year due to the fact that I enjoy playing with the 202P peeps.

2 faces and red fingers

I admit it I have two faces while gaming and I think most people do. While playing Halo3 I "Cherry Pick" a lot, now while I do not thin of this as bad some people get bent out of shape about it "YOU STOLE MY KILL DUMB ASS!" while playing with my friends we tease back and forth about "cherry picking" but it's in good fun. When some random ass screams at me about stealing his kill I get so pissed off. I "cherry pick" BunniesRock like there is no tomorrow. Part of this is the fact I like the BR in Halo. Here is the kicker I hate it when people I don't know bitches about this. My new term for this is "strategic fire support" (its Zad's term so I may have miss quoted it). I know everyone who games IS competitive but when it boils down to it a team win with me doing bad is better than a team loss with me doing the best. So when the score is 740 to 740 in COD4 team death match does it really matter who's bullet ripped through the last guys head? I love to shoot people in the face but I like to play with my friends more.

Just a quickie

I was playing COD4 and some Halo3 the other night and heard people bitching about campers. It got me thinking I camp a good portion of the time. No longer though! I will never camp again. Ever! I don't care if i have a sniper rifle or an M-16 everyone hates campers. I know what you're thinking I'm full of the BS. I will from now on take up a "strategic defensive position"! It's a legit way of doing things. You never see Snipers running on the battlefield they for lack of a better word "camp". If I come out of a match 17 and 5 because I sat in a good spot the whole game, the other team should have removed me or not gone into my kill zone. So if you camp "Rock on" if you don't thats fine too. Just remember just because you don't like it doesn't make it wrong. Yall have fun taking up defensive positions!
