My New Face Melter

So my new guitar effects processor arrived Saturday. I spent the weekend picking & grinning & couldn't be happier. The tones that you can get out of this thing are amazing. The distortion will simply melt your face. For any guitarists who've been looking at new gear, I'd recommend this unit above anything else. It's super user friendly. The best part is the online tone library. There's over 56,000 tones to choose from in the online database. Dialing a new sound in is as simple as plugging into your pc & clicking your mouse. It's got amp & cabinet/mic simulations that you can run direct into a pa or mixing board sans amp. Right now I've got over 40 amps & more than 20 speaker cabinet simulations. If you're looking for the ultimate guitar toy, then this is it.

Christmas Toys

I had a hell of a Christmas.Got a vintage Electra Les Paul copy guitar with a DiMarzio pickup in the bridge. It's nothing fancy but I fell in love when I played it. It should compliment My Ibanez Satriani model very nicely. I'd actually sold my amp a while back since i wasn't playnig out any more, So I used some of my x-mas cash to order a line6 PodXT Live pre-amp/fx processor yesterday. It should be coming in a few days.For now I'm just planning on running it into my stereo & using the cabinet simulations to create my tone. I'll probably get a new amp on down the road. I'm really excited. I've not been playing much lately, so hopefully this will get me back into the creative swing of things. Here's some pics of my new toys.............
