Up A Canal

So I'm in the beautiful outerbanks.  My daughter and I along with my father-in-law decide to take a kayak trip through the fresh water canals, it's about a 3 hour trip.  As we get there we see 4 black bears, get to paddle along side an alligator, the trip is going ok, other than my Kayak seems to want to fish tail on the back end.  The ass end constantly wants to swing around to the left, we get into some really tight swampy areas and as we are going along the canal we need to make a hard right, and as usualy the ass end of my kayak fish tails left and I bump into the left bank and bush.  not much room to maneuver, so I use my paddle to push off the bank.  Bad Idea.  The whole damn thing rolls over and I end up in a 10 ft deep alligator infested canal.  Nobody notices for about 2 minutes while I'm trying to get the freakin kayak right side up.  Finally the tour guide comes over and asks hows it going.  I get in and with my wallet soaked, my cell phone soaked, and I lost my freakin hat. Way behind me I think I hear "who's that idiot that went over"  "Yeah, thats my Dad."  "Oh, sorry"

Other than that today is going great.
