Well...Yeah...so I am a pretty freaking late with this one. Sorry about that. I was out of town last week, and this week well, work got in the way.

World domination countdown..Minion Update

So the minions had their doctors appointment yesterday and we got great news and a little stuff we need to check on (nothing horrific).

First the great news and keep in mind they are a little over a year and a half old...Their measurments:

Summer:

33.5 inches tall (90th percentile)

24lbs 6oz. (47th percentile)

Head circumfrence

48 cm.

The doctor also said she is very strong, and a lot of the things she is doing at home and did in the doctors office are milestones that 2yr olds should be doing. So she is not only on the uper scale for size but she is pretty smart too.

now for Logan (you all can start sucking up now, so in the future when he takes over the world, I can give you a pass to co-exist with us)

37 inches tall. He is completely off the charts (no I am not exagerating). For his heigth, as you progress along to find what age would be the equivalent median heigth (50 to 60% percentile) you would stop at a 3 year old....That's right people. He is the average heigth of a 3yr old at a little over 18 months.

30lbs 10 oz. (90th percentile)

Head circumfrence.

50.25 cm.

Logan is 3.5 inches taller and 6 pounds heavier then Summer. Keep in mind they are twins...

Doctor said he is looking great and is not worried about either of their sizes. Diet is really good (but no more goldfish, she said to stay to crackers or pretzles). She also said Logan can have Blueberries and Cranberries. A while back he had a little reaction to some strawberries, so she said to lay off the strawberries until he was older then 2. She also said he is farther along with certain benchmarks (jumping off of things, grasping items, etc). But I think this is due to his sister trying stuff out first and he see's what she is doing and whats to give it a try. Which is cool with me..

Now the other stuff.

She said they should have 4 to 10 word vocabulary right now. But they do not. They sign a few things, and their comprehension is right on target. So she wants us to make an appointment with a speech therapist for kids. She said that it is pretty common for twins to not really be speaking at this age, because they really do not have to. Twins have their own lanuage/sense, they just "know" what they want or what the other one wants. So she assures us it is not a really bigt deal, but wants to be ahead of anything, if there is something going on.

So would it be weird to start sending off video and measurements to Notre Dame,Penn St, and USC (that is SoCal folks not South Carolina) for Logan and Summer? Or am I just being a little ambitious? LOL
