Late update

Well I have been very busy at work doing a full inventory on everything we have since we are relocating to a newer facility. This is a big project and of course not only have I needed to be doing this, we also we implementing Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server 2007. So to make things short I have had a full plate the past few weeks.

Anyways onto other subjects, as of August 9th I am a married man. Me and my wife Danielle have been together for 5 years so we decided to tie the knot. Though we did things backwards with the kids first 3 to make a total of 4 great children, it makes for some hectic days though. It was luckily a great day as we had the ceremony outside, it did rain right after we finished but as everyone says its "good luck" (I think its just something to make you feel better that it rained on your wedding day, but hey thats just me). The rain only lasted 20 minutes and stopped right before the caterer arrived. It was a great day and I thought I would share a few pics.

Its been awhile.

Well it has been a bit since my last post so I figured I would write another. I have had a few things to blog about but have been so busy with things I just either haven't the time or am too tired to bring myself to type on the computer.

Well on to other things. I haven't played Halo for awhile, I guess I really haven't been able to game for awhile since I am going to sleep at regular times which is something I haven't done since I was younger arond 10 to 12. Alas this past weekend I had gotten Battlefield:BC in a trade for Warhawk which I never played. I am loving Battlefield, now I have played 2142 quite a bit and had lots of fun. Its a good reminder why I like the Battlefield series so much. The rounds last so long that you end up playing for 2 hours not even realizing it. So I am pretty sure this and Soul Calibur IV is the only thing I am going to be playing right now.

On another note big fair for my little city I live in this weekend so that should be fun for everyone as long as the weather is nice. So I don't know how much gaming I am going to do this weekend.

Next weekend is the big day when I get married. Which I feel isn't thart big of a deal since I have been with the same woman for 5 years and we have 3 children together. The closer it gets I get more nervous, but I don't have to deal with too much of the planning part of it so I don't worry about it as much as my Fiance does. The one thing I think is so absurd is the hoops you have to jump through to get you marrige certificate its just plain stupid.

Well I guess thats all I have to say for today.

Since I have been playing Ninja Gaiden II I figured I why not do a NG themed one. I am unsure of it yet I may make some adjustments if I get some more time.

Soul Calibur IV

I've been somewhat watching this game for awhile now. Being a fan of fighting games and all. Seeing new developments on it here and there. When I first heard about more new extra characters I was hyped. Darth Vader for PS3 and Yoda for 360, now this isn't the first time they did something like this. With Soul Calibur II they had Spawn for XBOX, Heihachi sp? for PS2, and Link for Gamcube. I have every iteration of the francise though, I never have played it as much as Tekken or Dead or Alive. I do enjoy the sword play with out all the crazy special moves. The Star Wars fan in me was pleased to hear that they are being put in this game, as I enjoyed all the special characters from the Soul Calibur II (yes I own all three versions). While Soul Calibur III was a let down, Soul Calibur IV looks to be a step up. The thing that has been bothering the most is the fact that, all the other characters fight with normal realistic weapons. Darth Vader and Yoda have a light saber, which would slice through those other weapons with ease. I guess though thats just the way I feel about it.

XBOX Support

Well as I posted before my 360 had gotten the Red Ring of Death. Well I called XBOX support that night and they said they couldn't do anything for me because they were doing a system upgrade. So I say ok I'll call back later on, then I decide to do the infamous towel trick which actually worked. So I put off calling for awhile and try to call on Sunday night since I was busy all day. I get a represenative and gave her my reference number, shes says I'm sorry sir but we are doing a system upgrade. I was about to fly off the handle but kept my calm and listened to the lady say "sorry sir" 20 more times. Finally yesterday on my third attempt I was able to get my "coffin" set to send out to me. So hopefully I can get my xbox back in a decent amount of time, I'd rather not have to be without it for a month.

Friggin XBOX

Well today I was playing COD 4 and all of a sudden it froze on me, nothing new it happens randomly. So I reset it, though thinking to myself great here we go. So I turn it back on and it freezes on the boot up screen. I turn it off and back on again, bam the damn red ring of death. I am uber pissed right then so I decide to try it again it works but only for a bit. I am able to get into a session of team slayer on Halo 3 and it freezes on me again. Now I am unsure if I can get it fixed since it is not a constant RROD. Any thoughts? I called support and they are updating thier system today. I'm thinking I am just going to tell them its the RROD so I don't have to pay them to fix thier shitty product.

Finished Halo 3

Well I finished Halo 3 the other day, after playing online for so long and getting bored of it I decided what the hell and finished off the three last levels. All in all a great game but I really didn't like the ending, it was really nothing special. Hopefully the new maps spark a little intrest from me for Halo 3 online as the choice of maps has become pretty stale. I really wish they would convert some maps from Halo 2 and throw them in there. Anyways I have moved on to playing COD 4 more often. I played that Death from above level, man oh man that AC-130 sequence was amazing. I just wish it had lasted longer. I have also been playing COD 4 online I like it alot but it takes a bit of time to adjust from playing Halo 3 so much.

By the way, snow sucks! Espically when you have an hour drive to and from work!

Car sold crisis avoided.

Well I put my old car up on Craigslist. It was a 93 dodge shadow with lots of issues, needed brakes, a tire or 2, leaks oil, heater was going, and a few other minor needs. It got me back and forth from work everyday 100+ miles so I guess it did well. Anyways I didn't think it would sell but 3 hours after I had posted it without pictures it was sold. Therefor my whole Christmas crisis was avoided, I feel much better now. Especially now I don't have to sell any of my collection so I am happy.

A Brief Introduction

Well I guess I'll let you all know a little more about me.

I had found out about this site from playing Dead or Alive: Ultimate and Dead or Alive: 4 with the members of 2old2fight occasionally. When I turned 25 I joined right away, because everyone that came from here I enjoyed playing with. I live in Wisconsin, Watertown to be exact pretty much right in the middle of Madison and Milwaukee. During the days I work as an IT Coordinator. I'm am now 26, though 27 is right around the corner. I have 3 children and 1 on the way, yes it is a very hectic life I live. I mainly play late nights 10:30pm or later to around 12am to 4am, with 4am'ers only on weekends. I am a mjor videogame junkie (though aren't we all, it drives the wife nuts) also I have amassed quite the collection over the years, I started playing at age 3 or 4 on the Atari 2600. I am an avid fighting game fan Tekken and Dead or Alive are my mains. Though recently I have been junking out on as much Halo as I can. Well hopefully I'll run into some of you, so until then have fun.
