Sony PSP as a Techie Tool

For all you WiFi installers and fanatics out there, I recommend the Sony PSP. Not only is it a total media center with Video, MP3, Photos and of course gaming but it is an excellent tool for testing WiFi networks. I used my PSP to test one of my installations in Dubai and not only did I impress my customer with the WiFi service but also with the Sony PSP! The IT Director wanted to keep my PSP, which of course I will not part with! Give it a try and you too will be happy with the results.

iPod Car Integration

For all who are not aware, Apple's iPod connectivity has been enabled in most new cars as a standard feature(mostly luxury car manufacturers like Audi and BMW) and as an option for all others. I was in Mexico and a friend had a Mercedes CLS that had and iPod connector along with full integration of the functionality on his navigation screen! I am looking forward to using my iPod in my new Audi A8 next spring and will keep you posted on the likes or dislikes. All for now,

New iPod Video

New Apple iPod Video

The new Apple iPod Video offers very little for an avid fan to get excited about. Besides the software features and minor functionality changes, there is nothing compelling enough that encourages me to buy it. My 60Gb iPod Video with iTunes 7, takes advantage of all of the new software enhancements including the most important for me, the Gapless Playback. This is genius and works as advertised although it is not available for the 1st generation iPod Nano which it should support. If a new investment is to be made, it will be on the new Nano, that has the aluminum case for extra protection and wow factor. Otherwise, it too lacks enough enhancements for those who want the cutting-edge in gadgetry.
