new computer

Just got a new computer yesterday, and I love it. 4200 AMD dual processor, 250 hd. 2 gb ram, 7 2.0 usb hubs, 19" widescreen flat panel, and canon pixma 160 printer for $800. Plus i had $200 in best Buy cards. So all this for just over $600.

Along with it I picked up WOW. Probably a mistake cause i've been playing it non-stop. I'm a Tauren Hunter lvl10 and can now summon and train pets. awesome game.

Finally!

Well, we're off to the hospital! My wife is almost 2 weeks overdue and they've told us to come tonight. She will be induced first thing tomorrow morning. Hopefully shortly thereafter I'll be meeting my son, Kai! Words can't describe how i'm feeling right now.

Another dominating performance by the Ravens! Indi and the Pats look like shit and we've allready beaten the Chargers once this year. looks like our defense could carry us to the Super Bowl again this year???? Things are pretty good in Baltimore right now!

Surprised

I've had the Motorola e815 for a couple months now and hated it. Had problems from the get-go and wasn't customizable enough for me. Lately i've been having problems charging it and yesterday it wouldn't let me charge at all. I was 2 seconds away from slamming it against the wall when I stopped myself. Figured it was worth a shot to take it into my local Verizon store that had tech guy's.

The store was packed but I waited my turn. When I got to the tech counter, I told them it wouldn't charge. The first thing they do is check for water damage, there's a sticker inside that changes color when wet. If there was water damage you're fucked and you can't argue because of this sticker. Mine passed the test and i was told to come back in 45 minutes to either, pick up my fixed phone or my new replacement phone! I am a total skeptic and always think the worst, so i knew that things couldn't go this smoothly.

The wife and I run over to Kohls and get some shopping done and then head back to the store after an hour. The guy told me it was a warranty issue but they didn't have any e815's in stock to give me. told me they would ship me one next week. Usually I would give in and take it in the ass, but not today! I pointed to my 9 1/2 month, 1 week over due, pregnant wife and told the dude I needed one now. Told him she could go into labor at any moment and I need a phone so she could reach me. He said that was a good enough reason and upgraded me to an LG VX8300 for free! 5 minutes later I had the new phone in hand and was thanking my wife for letting me use the ultimate trump card!
