Things appear to be looking up, yesterday we had 3 couples look at the house and had to contracts submitted. Well we accepted one that was a $1000 more than asking price, you say $1000 more well they wanted the damn refrig. So starting today there is a 10 day right of refusal for the buyer based on inspection, and if everything goes well we close on the 24th of May. This works out to 2 days before my daughters last day of school, which is a good thing. Also we found out my car had the engine going south and we had to trade it off on a new 06 Passat, VW worked us a deal. But the real kicker is we have less than 30 days to find a place to move into, holy shit I need to find a new house. These are all good things, just all at once.

Wow - all I can say

Damn I actually got some good news this morning, and am excited as hell. 5 years ago the wife and I were on the verge of bankruptcy, seeing that we were fiscally irresponsible (as most young adults are) and built up our revolving credt north of $65K. Yeah you can say stoopid well because that is exactly what we were. Just when we realized that we were screwing the pooch (future) ours and more importantly our daughters future for college, we started to look at the options. The first was bankruptcy, I didnt care for it. Yeah I could filed filed and wiped the slate clean, but I figured I bought the shit I should pay for it. So we went the CCCS route to address the interest (some at 21%), and consolidated our debt into one payment of $1200/mo (yeah amazing aint it). I found out today that AMEX was paid in full and I would actually be getting $1200 from over payment, that leaves us a total balance left to pay of $5900. Well what does that mean, it means by September we will be debt free with the exception of the house and car payment. It also means that we can go on a family vacation for the first time in 7 years. A word of advice to all, unless you will really die from not owning something dont buy it on credit. Pay cash and if you cant at this moment, just wait and save the cash up usually what you wanted will reduce in price and then you can own it. I am looking forward to a vacation, Cancun Mexico with the drinking and deep sea fishing and just maybe re-kindle a little excitement back into the old marriage (yes I mean kinky sex) PMS and all.

Well Its Official

I can only explain the feeling I am having as Mid-Life Crisis. My daughter has turned 14 and my wife is in denial about the one thing all women hate to see coming "Men-on-pause". With all the drama of women in my house, on top of that we are trying to sell our house and have had no lookers in the month it has been on the market. Oh and my wife decides in the middle of all this that we have to have a new SUV, as she explained for when family comes to town we can haul them around. My reply was let them rent a fucking car, I am not a limo service. I thought we were trying to buy a new house we dont need to purchase a car right now, unless it is for me and it is a 2 door sport coupe that I can make a break for it in. I have really resigned just to give up, and hole myself up in the office and not speak until spoken to. Enough of that, I purchased BF2MC and have found that the play is disembodied and sucks.

WW III is it coming?

It really is scary when watching the news anymore, with the tension in the Middle East. And what scares me is that 90% threat seems to come from a religious group, Isalm and it teachings. Now I am not saying all Isalmic people are war crazy and want to kill everyone. But the radicalness of some of the groups, and even some of the countries is down right menacing. We are not the crusaders of old, which the muslim people always liken the rest of the world to. We respect their religion and their right to their beliefs, and yet the Islamic radicals be it either group or countries want to chop our head off (literally). But at the same time want our compassion for their people and request aid, and anything else they can get.

I will never understand fully what is going on, due to the liberalism and sensationalism in the US media. But one has to wonder will WW III be fought over Isalm and the rest of the World, or has it already started with the advent of all the terrorist bombings.

For the sake of the children, I certainly hope this never comes about and the madness in the world stops. Sadly I know this isnt true, and the radicalism wether here at home or abroad. It can belief and racially oriented, is sad. I can only hope that in this madness, that our children can find peace and happiness and live long full lifes.
