its a beautiful day
so i start my day off by sleeping in till 1. 10 hours of sleep is alot for me. then i go get some burger king and play some halo for a few hours.
i go over to my friends house later and have a barbeque and drink a few beers. we play some 360 and decide to go out. so we go out, get a few shots for free(like 3 each) and go to an after-bar party. only one person was there. fun. but thats ok. 3 of us, 1 of him. we had a ping pong ball tourney. i came in second.
moral of the story is, have fun on your days off. and get drunk/high/lazy/motivated on your days off. they are the few things in this world that you earn and you can actually enjoy.
other morals of the day:
dont piss in the wind
never marry a girl who kisses like a stripper
never make a important decision when you have a hard-on
and thats the rest of the story.
good day!

thou shalt huddle
man am i excited! my friends dad is going out of town for work this weekend and guess what that means? i get to go to a vikings game with his season tickets! wooooooooo-hoooooo!!!!! i have never been to a pro football game. been to a couple twins games. that was awesome. sat above kirby puckett. r.i.p. kirb. anyway, we are going to leave saturday night to stay at his house so we dont have to leave at 8 a.m. should be a great time. i cant wait.
good weekend i hope. should help after another crazy week at work. had to haul about 300 pounds of equipment up 4 flights of stairs. then down a flight, and another after i finished that one. and then another. worked a 12 hour shift today. probubly another 12 tomorrow. should be a good reward for a long week with going to the game.

its all relative
so i spent the weekend helping my dad side his house. big big pain in the ass. the siding came off ok but one side of the house had to be repaired today. piecing crap together was real fun. and hes doing it so low tech it bugs me. i should have brought my work van so i could use a screw gun instead of a hammer and nails. i guess the tough thing is having your father treat you like your still a little kid sometimes when your a grown man with a job that requires you to be handy with tools. oh well. its his house. i just bit my tongue and did what he wanted. next weekend we will side it. that should be a blast considering the house is old as hell (100+ years) and everything is far from square. good experience for me though. ill know how to side a wonky house, next time if a do a square one it will be easy.
my sister and mother are having a word war right now, and i have to get in the middle of it before something gets really bad. i wouldnt get involved if my sister started things. my mom has evil tendencies. my sis just had a new baby 3 months ago so she is under enough stress.
my cousin and my best friend are getting a divorce. my cousin cheated on him. to bad. not fair to him at all. hes a good guy. and a member of this site. on a break though from video games so he can deal with this. things got really bad to. really bad. but things are getting better. and i think its good for him to be able to set the blame on her considering hes taking it so hard. if it was his fault things would just be worse. hes not talking to me now because he says its to hard. i understand. she is my cousin. and i think he was having a difficult time with me not taking sides because of the situation im in with being so close to them both. but he understands that now.
i guess thats about all for the blog for today.

damn klingons!
ok ok. not the star trek kind. the kind that always call you, invite themselves to places with you. show up at your house unexpectedly. and even go so far as to ask if "you would like to go out drinking, they can sober cab you, they will stay sober." i dont know, its happened alot to me with some friends. good guys, but i just dont think they are used to having friends they dont have to constantly impress or suck up to in order to hang out with them. they seem so desperate for friends they will go to any length to get them. i feel bad for them.
i dont like to feel pressured into anything. im not one who deals with people pressuring me well. if i get pushed i push back. good sometimes, bad others. and when friends pressure me to hang out, i get kinda pissed. i dont get mad at them. i just kinda avoid them when i dont want to deal with them.
i think its because i can talk to anyone about anything. most the people who push themselves on other people are lacking in a way the other person excells. i dont know. i just wanted to rant a bit about it. no reason to make those people feel bad. they usually get the hint after awhile then everything gets better.

drawn and quartered
ever get that feeling when your at work? i have about 10 jobs going on at one time right now and its driving me up a wall. i kinda like the fact im busy and i have a bit of freedom to do whichever i please for the most part, but its tough when you have customers calling you expecting you to be there at a certain time and you have to tell them your really sorry but something has come up thats more important for the time being. im also physically going from place to place for the work, so its not like i can juggle all that well. i had to go to a small school for what was supposed to be a quick in and out job this morning, but every single exterior door had to be adjusted in some way. it was like 20 doors. not to quick. aaannnddd, we hired a part time guy to help us other two field guys get jobs done before winter. thing is, hes an older guy, he worked for a contractor for years. he knows his shit, but hes half assed like most contractors are. no offense, but they have a shit load of stuff to do, so they dont really give it the same care we do. i get to the school, where the part timer was earlier this week, and i see the work he did and realized i have to fix it. i understand having to take care of the company, and the companies problems. but this guy is probubly making 10 dollars more an hour then me. not cool if im juggling work and cleaning up after him. and getting paid less to do it. anyway, got that job mostly done, but i had to order some stuff for them so i will go back and finish when the stuff comes in.
i go to a new 911 building and find out that a lock is broken and they need to get into a room, and all i was supposed to do, originally, was a quick job and move on. so i had to break into the room without screwing up the new door. i get a new lock from my van and install that. do the original job and get out.
i go to a college to finish up on a job. i get there and realize there is no fixing it. so i do the best i can, call our salesman with the instructions on what i need. on to the next job.
so i said piss on it. i was 15 minutes away from the end of my day so i went and hung out with my cousin for awhile. worked an extra half hour this morning, so i didnt screw over my work at all. but it still kinda sucked.
then again, nobody else in my company said they were as busy as i was today. so that makes it all better. chalk one up for me.
