Why is it that sometimes I can't remember what I had for lunch the day before?   But if a song comes on that I rocked out to in High School I can remember all the words?

Big Foot, Ghosts, Mothman, UFO's and.........

OK,  I know there are a lot of strange things in this world.  Things that can't be explained normally.  Take for instance Big Foot,  even though he is in my clan (HogRyder) it's hard to believe he is real.  Ghosts, well who knows with all the new tech out there and recordings of EVP.  UFO'S, a lot of people have said they have seen them.

But what I want to talk about is a lot more serious then the above.  Hard to prove, but in my heart of heart's I know they are real.  Similar events happen to many people all around the world.  It is kinda a taboo subject since it scare's small children.  But I think it is something that must be discussed.  I will be that brave soul to step forward and tell my tale.  I will probably face ridicule but I think it is something that needs to be brought out in the open.

Gulp!  here goes my story.   Last night was a stormy night.  The sky seemed darker then normal and lightning was amazing.  I was minding my own business and doing my luandry.  I was pulling my last load out of the dryer and sat down to fold them.    I got down to my socks......  I put three pair of socks into the dryer and I only got five socks back.  I was missing one damn sock.   I went back and looked in the dryer and could not find it.  I retraced my steps looking for the sock and could not find it.   Then it hit me,  Beads of sweat started to run down my back.  My heart was racing faster then PBR could tea-bag a clan-mate.  I was scared, damn scared.  I realized I WAS NOT ALONE.....

I had a SOCK GREMLIN in my home.  These dreaded little bastards have layed claim to many a sock over the centuries.  They are evil little beasts.  I ran to the dryer to look for clues.  Sure enough I pulled out the lint trap and found teeth marks.  I looked under the dryer and found multiple dust bunnies.  At least that is what the unbelieving call them.  I call them Sock Gremlin Turds...

I raced back into my room, grabed the 12 gauge and sat by my socks all night long.  It was a long night.  Beware my friends, Beware of the Sock Gremlins.  Dont be a victim.

Politics

Had some time to kill tonight and delved into the Political Forums. Very interesting reading, lots of passion on both sides. This Blog post is not about who I think is right or wrong. Republican, Democrat, Liberal. Conservative, Green Party, Libertarian, etc...... This blog is just a complaint about politicians in general. To me it seems that the whole system of our government that our founding fathers developed for us is going down the tubes. It's all about money and power these days, I don't care what party you talk about there all the same. To me its nothing but a huge finger pointing blame game to keep the masses stirred up while the power brokers are robbing us blind. You know the old magicians trick, watch the shiney object in one hand while I pull a switcharoo with the other. Of course I say these day's but Im sure this crap has been going on longer then that. But I believe it's getting worse. It just seems that all they do is argue but nothing ever gets done. Of course the only thing they can pass or agree on is pay raises and extra perks for themselves.

What ever happened to "A government of the people, by the people, for the people?" I think now it's a government of the special interest groups, by the Lobbyist, for the bribary.

What can we do to fix our government? Ban special interest groups, draw and quarter all lobbyist's, term limits?

So I am turning to my fellow 2old2play gang for suggestions. I don't want this to turn into a party bashing, they all suck in my opinion. How about some non-party ideas as a whole.
