Sunday Morning.....

What have I got to say about Sunday morning?  Nothing. much..  Just read the paper, caught up on my emails, did some vacation planning, just stuff.  Thinking a bit too much, too.  I will be working more, now that the kids are in school.  I anticipate being a bit lonely for them.  That is, after I get done celebrating my freedom!!  I've been raising kids most of my life.  My son is....well, older.  LOL.  I had him when I was a child, myself.  Then, along came my daughter.  She grew up, sorta, and had my older gson when she was very young, as well.  So, I helped raise him until he went to school.  Now the younger one is starting school.  It will be the first time in, um, a lot of years that I have not been taking care of any children.  What to do??  I don't want to get dusty.....well, too late for that, I already am!

Just a thought, or two

Well, I just got back from the gym.  It was hard to work out today.  Why?  Ack!  Forgot to put a disc in my CD player.  No audio book, no music.  Blah!  Sooo, I had to entertain myself inside my head.  Not good!  Started thinking about a lot of stuff i should stay away from, like loss....  My grandbabies are going to school.  Empty nest syndrome!  My mama and daddy, both gone for some time now.  They are in a better place together.  Friends I haven't seen for a while, or a long time.  My son...lost to me thru mental illness a loooong time ago.  And it started getting more and more morbid.  But!  My vacation is only a couple weeks away, so I can think about that.  Oh, and I didn't lose any weight, after all.  Weighed in at the gym today and haven't gained or lost one ounce.  That's a good thing!  So, in the long run, life is good!
