Shuttle Launched!

No matter how many times I see the shuttle take off it always makes amazes me.  One of the perks of living in Florida somewhat close to the Kennedy Space center is that you can actually see it once it is high enough in the air and see it ascend into the heavens.

It is always an amazing site.  I hope all goes well for the astronauts up there I am sure it is very humbling seeing the earth in all its glory then looking to the right or left of you and seeing another planet.  Been about 30 years since the first man walked on the moon, I guess it is somewhat disappointing that we havent gone farther with space travel. 

It is funny when I was younger I used to read the popular mechanic articles and they would always show how in the future space travel would be more
like riding in the airplanes of today where any regular Joe could experience the wonder of space and it would no longer be something reserved only for the astronaut elite.  Here we are in 2006, the world hasnt ended yet. humanity thankfully hasnt destroyed itself, and we are not any closer to space travel
being a tourist trap destination.

Maybe one day!  Still just seeing that shuttle launch itself from earth is still something I am glad I have been able to behold in my lifetime since others before us never had the opportunity to see such an event.

Getting GRAW Today

Well it looks like GRAW is what I am going to buy here at Walmart. 

I was debating between that and BF2, although people have said BF2 is more like Halo2 in playing style, it seems alot of peole have issues with their servers crashing and things of that nature.

It also appears that GRAW gives you much more flexibility when creating your own hosted games, where as BF2 doesnt give that option.

Which to me is important because being able to host a game with friends is always the best thing about MP gameplay.

Plan to dive into it and get a feel for the game as quickly as possible so I can play it fairly well like I do Halo 2.

I am excited, I hope I love it as much as I do Halo 2 although it appears to have more strategy associated with it, then a shoot em up type of game. As everything I will give it a good go and see what transpires.
