Book one is down

Just finished last night Harry Potter and the Half blood prince. Onto my second book. Jeff Shaara and his newest novel "The Rising Tide"

Hopefully I will fly through this book as well as his earlier works (and his fathers as well).

On another note I am still receiving text messages from my buddies rubbing in the Ohio State loss in the National Championship game. Here is one of the recent ones that really stung:

"Oh he knows what I'm doing.(harrasing me) I even tried to get him to call you. (to harrass me). He said you weren't worth it. I can't wait till that game comes out on DVD. Would make a"

message was so long he had to send a second to finish the thought.

"an excellent birthday gift. Hmmm whose birthday is coming up?"

And I call these people my friends.

New Years Resolution

I made a very reachable resolution for myself for the new year and that is to finish at least 12 novels in the year. Now it is not overly ambitious at all, but I find myself slipping away from reading as much as I used to and I think this will help me get back on track. 1 book every month should be not to much of a strain on me so here we go.

I need answers

Why do Helicopters have to keep their blades running when people get in and out of the cockpit. I mean every movie, news or any other source always has people in that 'I don't want to lose my head crouch run' when getting into or out of a helicopter. It just bothers me, just shut the stupid thing off. Com'on we haven't advanced technologically far enought to stop the blad on those birds yet?

Any help Doorgunner?

what would you like to have?

If I had my choice to have one of the following what would I choose to have as my constant companion?

1. Laugh track - laughter provided everytime I tell a joke, say something funny or do something funny.

2. Music/score track - Music to fit your mood that changes as your mood changes.

3. Applause Track - Spontanious applause help motivate and make you feel all warm and fuzzy when you do something good.

4. Color lighting - kinda like that Aquos TV with the lighting that changes with the movie/show you are watching.

5. Running commentary - kinda like that Will Farrel movie with constant commentary on all of your actions and situations.

6. Spot shadow - Like in sports replays that little area around the player to make sure everyone is looking in the right place.

7. Sound effects track - just think old martial arts movie with the sound effects highlighting every move.

8. Subtitles - just so everyone can understand what I am saying.

hmmmm, I think I would go with the Musical/ Score soundtrack I think that would work the best.
