The waiting game

Well, I am waiting for Microsoft to send me either my machine back or another machine all together.  At this point, I really don't care which.  I'd just like to be playing again....

Sad day in mudville!

It finally happened. The day my 360 died for good. I got the shipping box from Microsoft, so I guess it is fate that it should completely crash today. It just got shipped back to where ever Texas to be reclaimed by the xbox gods. Enough of that sappy crap. lol I am happy that I have gotten alot more out of my machine than most. (I bought it on launch day Nov 22, 2005)  I played a minimum of 4 hours a day, every day. To have it last this long was pretty good. I've heard the stories of others who are on their 3rd, 4th or 5th machine at this point. I could only be blessed if I could get lucky and get another long lasting machine. If what I read is true, they are adding another heat sink so maybe that will add to the life of these machines. I don't know what to do with myself while I now wait for a 360 to be returned to me. Exercise?!? lol Fishing? Oh God, please hurry microsoft! LOL

New steering wheel = FUN

I was pretty hyped about working my butt off and getting a steering wheel for my 360. I got one last night!! I will be getting Forza2 in a few days when it is released. I just had to make a comment about it thought. I got the new copy of PGR3 (it comes with the steering wheel) and have had a blast. It is kind of tricky to use the wheel at first. It's like having to learn how to drive all over again. lol Unlike many people, I am playing on my computer monitor (via a VGA cable) so I don't have the "big" HD screen experience going yet but it works out because I am using my computer desk for a place to latch my steering wheel to. Now to say a little something about the wheel itself.... If you like racing games (as I do) it is a MUST! It changes how you play the game, as well as how it "places" you into the game. I would highly suggest it to anyone. The price has come down a little and it makes a major difference. It works well with PGR3 and the Forza Demo. The Dirt demo it is a little twitchy for my taste but it would be worth getting the feel of it for that game when I buy it. It is worth it...........

Looking to play COD3?

I have to say that I am addicted to COD3. That's all I play with the exception of PGR3 every now and then. I am looking forward to the new maps for COD3 and also COD4. I am also counting down to the release of Forza2 at the end of the month. I will be picking that up along with a steering wheel. If you are on XBL and want to play COD3 send me an invite. I will be glad to play against others in my own age range and not against some 12 year old kid who wants to talk tough.  See you on LIVE!
